Iowa City-Old Capitol
Serving the Children of the World

The Old Capitol Kiwanis Club of Iowa City is a service organization comprised of caring men and women from all walks of life.  Our objective is to bring aid to children in need, and the majority of our efforts benefit children in our neighboring community.  We love to serve, and we love to have fun.  At Old Capitol Kiwanis, we are a community of people who want to change the world one person at a time.  We believe that one person can make a difference.

We serve our community by sponsoring fund raising activities, service projects, and sponsored youth clubs throughout the year.  Anyone interested in serving others will feel very welcome. We meet at St Mark’s United Methodist Church on Thursday mornings from 6:30 a.m. to 7:45 a.m.

This year's Kiwanis Chili Supper raised almost $15,000!  Thank you all for making it such a success!

We meet every Thursday morning at 6:30 at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church located at 2675 East Washington Street in Iowa City IA.  Please join us for a meeting… we would love to have there!
